[ Derek Develder ]

B.Mus. Arizona Stage, MM Peabody Conservatory. Studied with Ludwig Streicher at the Hochschule fur Musik und Darstellende Kunst in Vienna, Austria, where he played associate principal bass with the St. Polten Musikverein. He has performed with the Santa Fe Opera, the Virginia Symphony, the Richmond Symphony, the Harrisburg Symphony, the National Repertory Orchestra, the Sarasota Music Festival, the Brevard Music Festival, and the Kartause Musik Festival.

Mr. DeVelder has played the 2001 – 2002 season with the Colorado Springs Symphony Orchestra. Currently, he is a double bassist with the New York Mexico Symphony Orchestra and the Arizona Opera Orchestra.
